About Leslie Lennox Designs:

 

Leslie expresses her creativity through food, fiber, film and friends. Since the Pandemic, her focus has returned to her love of crocheting. These are not your typical Granny Squares! Leslie’s modern expressions incorporate a multitude of yarns and fibers, colors and textures, sequins, metallic threads, eyelash wool and sustainable materials resulting in truly unique creations. Leslie has been crafting crocheted garments, blankets, totes, balaclavas and shoulder bags and is now making them available to you.

 

Each piece is a handmade, one of a kind garment. Chic during the day with jeans, or as an accessory with evening wear. Leslie approaches each piece as a painting; one square builds on the next. Inspiration comes from some of her favorite artists: Matisse, Georgia O’Keefe and David Hockney.

Her past careers are many…author of PESTO: The Modern Mother Sauce Cookbook; co-founder of Hope’s Gardens, an artisan condiment company; a fashion stylist in NY and LA; art photographer; creator of hand-crafted greeting cards; and, Vogue Magazine Associate Editor to Vera Wang.

 

Today, she lives in NYC with her husband, Dave.
